Iravaban.net learned from the Corruption Prevention Commission about the decisions taken in the period of 3 – 11 March,, 2020.
The Commission convened 3 sessions and made 3 decisions.
On 6 March 2020, as a result of proceedings initiated on the fact of alleged violation of incompatibility requirement by the Mayor of Yerevan, Hayk Marutyan, the Commission reached the following conclusion:
“Although Hayk Marutyan after assuming the post of the Mayor of Yerevan retained his stake in “KARGIN STUDIO” LLC, “KARGIN TV” LLC and “HAYKO & MCO” “KARGIN” LLC, yet the mentioned companies did not actually operate, and they didn’t make a profit.
Form the point of view of formal interpretation of the law requirement in the case of “KARGIN STUDIO” LLC, “KARGIN TV” LLC and “HAYKO & MCO” “KARGIN” LLC, failure to hand over the stake to trust management is a breach of the requirement of incompatibility.
However, in view of the fact that the companies mentioned did not actually operate, the Commission concluded that there was no breach of the requirements of the law in terms of the incompatibility content.”
It should be reminded that on 9 December 2019 the Commission decided to institute proceedings based on the facts on alleged violation of incompatibility requirement by the Mayor of Yerevan, Hayk Marutyan.
