Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan issued a statement informing that the directions of using the received funds have been expanded.

“Dear Compatriots,

It has already been announced that the Ministry of Finance has opened a treasury account to support measures to prevent and overcome coronavirus disease.

I would like to inform you that in line with the numerous suggestions received from citizens and organizations, the use of the funds received has been expanded to include:

for health needs:

encouragement of medical staff,

acquisition of medical supplies and equipment,

improvement of medical facilities building,

for social needs:

Providing socially insecure, people with mobility problems, people in risk (with families) with food, personal protection and other essentials;

Providing volunteer support groups with necessary supplies and organization of work,

Organization of transportation.

In keeping with the principles of accountable and transparent management, the public will be regularly be informed about the amount of funds received and the directions for their use.

Please indicate the purpose of “Supporting the fight against coronavirus” when transferring, and if you wish, indicate the direction in which you would like your funds to be used.
