Traffic Police to Drivers: Do not take more passengers than intended

On March 18, Traffic Police officers conducted intensive service in Yerevan.

Bus and minibus drivers have been warned by traffic police not to violate traffic rules, that is, not to carry more passengers than intended.

Other violations were found during the service, one bus driver did not have a driver’s license. The bus was transported to the special police protected area.

Police said all offenders will be found and held responsible.

From 16 March to 14 April, there is a state of emergency in the RA to prevent the spread of coronavirus. There are 84 cases of infection in the country as of the morning of 18 March, one has been cured. The Ministry of Health urges to follow the rules of hygiene, stay as far from crowded places as possible and maintain social distance.
