Press conference of Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan and head of Consular Department Artak Avetisyan is being held at the government.
They present the activities of the RA diplomatic services abroad and the regulation of the movement of citizens from the country to country during the state of emergency.
Anna Naghdalyan urged Armenian citizens abroad to keep in touch with Armenian diplomatic missions and to call 24-hour hotlines operating there; “In countries where there is no diplomatic representation of the Republic of Armenia, citizens of the Republic of Armenia can contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia by hotline 055620111,” Anna Naghdalyan said.
She also recalled that the relevant decision of the Armenian and Russian governments, which restricted land and air communication between the two countries, came into force from today.
“By this decision, RA citizens living in Russia, their family members, as well as those who do not have citizenship but have the right to reside in the RA legally, can return to Armenia. The Georgian government’s decision to ban foreigners from entering Georgia has also come into force today. This prohibition also does not affect freight transport which runs smoothly. “
