Under the state of emergency in the Republic of Armenia it was instructed to exclude overloading of vehicles of public transport carrying ot regular passenger transportation. The corresponding instruction was given by the Commandant, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, This is posted in his Facebook page.

He noted that additional vehicles should be involved if needed.

“Disinfection of vehicles operating on all public transport routes and the Yerevan subway will be ensured and daily check-up of drivers leaving the route to exclude the presence of infection symptoms,” he said.

A state of emergency has been declared in the country from March 16 to April 14 to prevent the spread of coronavirus. As of 9:30 pm, 17March, there are 78 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Armenia.
