I recently had a phone conversation with RA Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan, during which I expressed my concern about the insults and obscene expressions on the web of our fellow female citizen. The mayor of Echmiadzin Diana Gasparyan reports.

“We agreed with Mr. Tatoyan that gross violations of the inviolability, honor and dignity of a woman’s private life are unacceptable and strongly condemned. The Ombudsman promised to keep in focus both the issues raised and some of the issues discussed during the telephone conversation.

Dear followers, I ask, urge and demand to refrain from abusive expressions addressed to our fellow citizens, as well as to disseminate photos of the latter. It is morally and legally reprehensible
