The State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition of the Republic of Armenia has issued a statement urging citizens not to make large purchases as there is no need for it.

“Dear citizens,

Please be informed that the SCPEC is in constant contact with the major commercial networks of the republic and regularly monitors the stocks and prices of food and non-food products.

Large retailers say they have sufficient stock of goods and there is no need to make large purchases. At the same time, we inform that commercial networks also offer online delivery services, and in view of the Ministry of Health’s call to avoid human accumulation, we urge you to use these services.”
