Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Sport and Culture Arayik Harutyunyan announced on Facebook what to expect after the closure of educational institutions in the framework of the fight against coronavirus.
Teacher remuneration will be maintained. Missed programs will be supplemented by additional training, examinations will be organized later. We are now making the last adjustments, preparing to send to schools, universities. We also call for the same actions to be undertaken in private educational institutions,” the Minister said.
He also added that distance learning would be encouraged during this period.
According to the minister, given the decision made at the moment, the lessons have been suspended until March 23, and in case of changes they will inform additionally.
