All passengers arriving at Zvartnots Airport must fill in address cards, which will include information on the countries they have visited in the past 14 days, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan wrote on his Facebook page.
He noted that “Zvartnots” Airport was familiar with measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, adding that passengers would fill in address cards, regardless of whether they came from a country at risk for coronavirus or not.
“Reference was made to work with passengers arriving from risky countries, to thermometry and other preventive medical measures, to address cards,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.
Avinyan was also present at the check-in of passengers arriving by one of the flights.
Notably, on 10 March, the Armenian Foreign Ministry called on the Armenian citizens to refrain from visiting Italy, and the Armenian citizens currently in Italy to immediately stop the trip and return to the RA. Due to Coronavirus, Ryanair budget airline has suspended flights to Italy and from that country from 13 March to 8 April.
