Health Minister Arsen Torosyan has issued a statement on a 13-year-old child beaten in Gyumri.
“By my order, Deputy Minister of Health Artyom Smbatyan visited the “Sourb Astvatsamayr” Medical Center to see the 13-year-old child who was taken to the capital from Gyumri .
Doctors say the condition of the child remains extremely severe, with a device for artificial respiration.
Doctors are taking all necessary measures to save the child’s life. “
Notably, on 5 March, the police issued a statement that the officers from the operative group who arrived at the scene discovered the corpse of the girl’s mother, Marine K., 43, in the apartment with traces of violence.
Gyumri police officers found out some facts of the incident through the urgent investigative measures taken. A 28-year-old man was found and arrested on suspicion of committing a crime.
He was presented to the body conducting the preliminary investigation.
