Health Minister Arsen Torosyan referred to the Issue of Temporary Closure of Educational Institutions during an Urgent Press Conference on 1 March.

“I am ready to send my children to school as I do not consider the public health risk high to limit the need for school children to move, especially given that school children have no practical problems with the virus,” the minister said.

Mr. Torosyan noted that during the day the issue to close the schools will be determined.

Notably, one case of a person infected with coronavirus was registered in Armenia on the night of 1 March.
