On February 29, at 22:44, the National Crisis Management Center was informed that an explosion occurred in the hatch near the “Gortsaranain” station of Yerevan Metropolitan named after Karen Demirchyan.
Two firefighting crews from the fire and rescue squad of the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations left for the scene.
It turned out that there was an explosion in the hatch without a fire. The side of the “Opel” car parked nearby was partially burnt and the windscreen of the water meter was broken.
Rescuers demarcated the area and carried out their duty.
