The new coronavirus, according to the World Health Organization novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP) is a single-stranded DNA-containing virus that was first discovered in December 2019 in Wuhan.
On 20 January, 2020, China’s Guangdong Province confirmed that the virus was transmitted from person to person. No specific method of treatment for the virus has been developed so far.
Since 22 January, the city of Wuhan has been declared quarantine, all public transport has been suspended, and the city has been closed for entry and exit. The virus has been reported in most administrative units in China.
