Today, on 19 February, the Armenian President Armen Sarkissian signed a decree on dismissing Artur Bagdasaryan from the post of the Chief of the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

The decree states:

“Taking into account the Prime Minister’s recommendation pursuant to Article 133 (1) of the Constitution, and Article 40 (3) of the Law on Military Service and the Status of a Conscript, dismiss Artur BAGHDASARYAN from the position of Chief of the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.”
