The National Assembly is discussing the Law “On Reduction and Prevention of Health Damage due to the Use of Tobacco Products and their Substitutes”.

Representatives of the 3 factions noted that the law is flawed and needs to be amended. The deputies decided to vote in favor and then form a working group to eliminate the shortcomings.

The National Assembly approved the Draft on prohibiting Smoking in Closed Public Areas with 76 votes “for”, 17 “against”, and 8 “abstain”.
