As previously reported, Harutyun Grigoryan and his brother, Zaven Grigoryan, were charged in the criminal case of deliberately causing serious harm to the health of serviceman Ara Mkhitaryan.
According to the preliminary investigation, Harutyun and Zaven Grigoryan punched Ara Mkhitaryan in the head with fist and baton, causing intentional injury to his health. However, Zaven Grigoryan’s representative Levon Sahakyan notes that he was not at the scene at the time of the incident and this is proved by a number of facts, and that Ara Mkhitaryan and his friends were under the influence of alcohol.
The defendants Harutyun and Zaven Grigoryans were arrested as a measure of restraint.
