On 30 January, former National Security Service (NSS) Director Artur Vanetsyan was summoned to the Investigative Committee for questioning. Naira Harutyunyan, Head of Information and Public Relations Department of the Investigative Committee told to Iravaban.net.
She said that Vanetsyan had been questioned as a witness in relation with the w3ell know case on wiretapping of the telephone conversation of the NSS Director and Head of the SIS and the misuse in the Football Federation.
According to Naira Harutyunyan, Vanetsyan’s phone was also examined.
Notably, on 11 September, 2018, a video was released on Youtube showing the phone conversation the Director of National Security Service Artur Vanetsyan and Special Investigation Service Chief Sasun Khachatryan.
They were talking about the arrest of the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, the choice of measure of restraint against CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov and the arrest of Seyran Ohanyan.
