The Ministry of Justice announces the results of the election of the candidates for the members of the Specialized Commission on Constitutional Reforms, who are legal scholars and representatives of non-governmental organizations. Thus, the candidates selected by the Ministry of Justice are:

Lawyer-Scientists: Anahit Manasyan, Artur Ghambaryan, Armen Mazmanyan, Arsen Tavadyan, Levon Gevorgyan and Tigran Markosyan. Representatives of non-governmental organizations: Karen Zadoyan representing the Armenian Lawyers’ Association and Daniel Ioannisyan representing the Union of Informed Citizens” consulting NGO.

The list of the above-mentioned candidates selected by the Ministry of Justice will be presented to the RA Prime Minister’s staff to address the issue of their inclusion in the commission to be formed by the Prime Minister’s decision.

Notably, numerous applications have been studied in the Ministry of Justice for the selection of candidates, and the candidates that were not selected, may later have the opportunity to be involved as an expert or consultant, in the work of the commission to be established.
