The Special Investigation Service is conducting a search in the apartment of the President of the Constitutional Court Hrayr Tovmasyan.

Hrayr Tovmasyan’s lawyer Mihran Poghosyan told reporters that it was clear what was happening. “Political persecution and the use of various methods are evident within this criminal case. The investigator initiates and conducts simple searches with violations. Particularly when the decision of the search was not yet known to me and Mr. Tovmasyan, the investigator stated to continue the search. According to our assessment, the investigator has started conducting an illegal search,” Mihran Poghosyan said.

The defense lawyer also said that they had mediated to videotape the whole process of the search, but the investigator rejected that motion.

It should be noted that the Special Investigation Service had informed about the search in the apartment of the President of the Constitutional Court Hrayr Tovmasyan.
