A criminal case has been initiated in the RA Police under Article 235, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia on the basis of the shot at the window of the office of the Judge of the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction Tatevik Grigoryan.

The issue, in its relevance and unprecedented importance, is at the forefront attention of the Council and the law enforcement agencies. What has happened has received widespread public comment and has sometimes led to unnecessary discussions at this time.

The Supreme Judicial Council calls on everyone to refrain from making any non-professional comment until all the details of the case have been revealed.

Only after completion of the examination the relevant information and assessment will be given.
