The court rejected the motion of former MP Manvel Grigoryan’s lawyers to send Grigoryan to France for treatment.
The Court noted: The motion is groundless.
The prosecution prosecutor also objected to the motion because it was unfounded.
The hearing was adjourned and scheduled for February 11 at 2:00 pm.
It should be noted that Manvel Grigoryan was not present at this session since he has been in the “Nairi” Medical Center’s resuscitation department for several days.
Notably on January 15, Manvel Grigoryan’s measure of restraint was changed and his arrest was replaced by a signature not to leave.
Manvel Grigoryan is accused of committing a crime under Article 235 (2) of the RA Criminal Code (“Illegal procurement, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices by a group of persons”).
Note: A person that is suspected or accused of an alleged crime is considered innocent until his/her guilt is proved by a court judgment that has come into legal effect pursuant to the procedure determined by RA Criminal Procedure Code.
