By the decision of the President of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan, the deputies Janibek Hayrapetyan, Gevorg Petrosyan, Artur Aghababyan and Artur Dallakyan were removed from the NA session hall until the end of the day.
It should be noted that a dispute took place before that. The draft law on criminal subculture was under discussion.
MP Gevorg Petrosyan insisted the law is incomplete and addressed Justice Minister Rustam Badasyan; “You do well in your fight against crime, but there is a hint as well, that there is another word from 3 letters with that word “thief”. It would be good if you would fight against it,” Petrosyan said.
Independent MP Arman Babajanyan then approached the podium and demanded that one of the Prosperous Armenia factions approach the podium and apologize for Gevorg Petrosyan’s statement.
When Babajanyan was returning to his post, PAP MPs rallied around him, trying to clarify questions. MPs Naira Zohrabyan, Arman Abovyan and members of the “My Step” faction were trying to calm them down. After another speech, a debate broke out between the PAP and “My Step” MPs.
