Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan sent a letter of condolences on the death of former Director of the RA National Security Service Georgi Kutoyan. Gor Abrahamyan, advisor to the Prosecutor General, wrote about it on his Facebook page.
“With deep sorrow and heartache I learned of the untimely and tragic death of Georgi Kutoyan. In all areas of the state service entrusted to him, Georgi Kutoyan acted as a discerning, intellectual, professional, driven officer, public servant and officer with a great sense of responsibility for his duties.
On behalf of myself and the entire staff of the Prosecutor’s Office, I express my condolences on this painful loss to Georgi Kutoyan’s family, relatives, and colleagues, although it is difficult to find comfort in words.”
The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia assures that with all its legal tools it will ensure the disclosure of all causes and circumstances of the tragedy, thorough, comprehensive and objective examination of all hypotheses and a final legal assessment.
At the same time, the Prosecutor’s Office will seek to ensure the transparency and public awareness of the entire preliminary investigation process.
