On January 18, at 11:47 am, a “911” service received an alert that a fire broke out on the first floor of the “Press” building on Arshakunyats Avenue in Yerevan.
Ministry of Emergency Situations reported this.
Four fire Crews from the fire and rescue squads of the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as the Operational Team of the Firefighting and Rescue Organization, arrived at the scene.
The fire was isolated at 1:41 pm and extinguished at 2:03 pm.
Rescuers evacuated 50 citizens.
The electrical cables have burnt in the ventilation duct (1-8th floor section), in one of the first floor rooms (15 sqm area) electrical counters and utensils have burnt, on the third floor the door and ceiling of one of the rooms was heated.
