On 24 April, 2013, a fire broke out in the Republican Maternity Hospital, which was done by the director of the maternity hospital Razmik Abrahamyan to destroy the documents. The documents starting from 1996 the documents have been destroyed. Syuzanna Patvakanyan, the parent who lost her child, told reporters at the Yerevan Court of First Instance.

“I gave birth in 2000 and had a baby girl. I was a juvenile and agreed with Razmik Abrahamyan that he would not inform the law enforcement officers so that the father of the child would not be held criminally responsible. We did not pay him money, he instructed to tell us that the child would not live, and I was forced to give it. However, it is clear from the documents that the child is alive and has been adopted,” she said.

According to Syuzanna Patvakanyan, Razmik Abrahamyan has submitted a false adoption document, according to which the mother voluntarily gave the child for adoption.
