Iranian authorities will not hand over to “Boeing” Company the black boxes of the crashed plane, the Reuters reports.
“It is not yet clear where the black boxes will be sent for further decoding and analysis,” Ali Abedzadeh, the Civil Aviation Organization of Islamic Republic of Iran (CAO.IRI) said.
Earlier on 8 January, a Ukrainian plane crashed shortly after the flight near Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport. It had 176 people, all of whom were killed. There are no RA citizens in the list of victims. The Iranian authorities called the cause of the crash a flared engine fire and an unsuccessful attempt by the crew to restore control of the aircraft.
