The President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian continues his year-end meetings with the political and non-governmental organizations and representatives of the legal community.

President Sarkissian had meetings with Ishkhan Saghatelyan, representative of the Supreme Body of ARF-Dasnaktsutyun and members of the Supreme Body Artsvik Minasyan, Shaghik Marukhyan and Ashot Simonyan. The President also met with the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Doctor of Law, Professor, Academician of Human Rights at NAS RA Gagik Ghazinyan, the RA Human Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan, President of Helsinki Committee of Armenia Avetik Ishkhanyan, Co-Founder of Legal Way NGO Ruben Melikyan and others.

During the meetings, the parties focused on political and economic issues, reforms in the judicial and legal system, human rights protection, the Law on Amendments to the Constitutional Law on Constitutional Court and a number of other issues.
