Facebook page of a member of the Yerevan Council of the Elders Sergey Apresyan informs that information has been received that a wolf is kept in the yard of Baghramyan 78 building in Yerevan.
“Taking into account a number of circumstances, by the decision of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, the animal was transported to the Yerevan Zoo through the “Stray Animal Center” SNCO.”
Ms Ovsanna Hovsepyan, member of the Council of the Elders said the wolf was kept in a 2-meter box next to Metro station “Barkamutyun”. “Unfortunately the wolf has been kept since it was a cub and he will not be able to survive in a free nature,” she added.
