A number of websites of unknown origin in the media circulate information that Arayik Harutyunyan has been relieved of his post. The authors of the article, citing an online Facebook user post, insist that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has already signed a decision to dismiss Harutyunyan. The Information Verification Center reports that the information disseminated is not true.

It should be reminded that earlier an information campaign was launched against the Minister Education, Science, Culture and Sport Arayik Harutyunyan in connection with the performance near the Metro Station Republic Square of the Yerevan.

Referring to the performance, the Minister himself stated that the decision to allocate money for this or that program is made by the evaluation committee, and the renowned artists are members of this committee.
