The Ministry of Economy of Armenia has been informed about keeping two Cheese-loaded “Spayka” vehicles at Lars customs checkpoint. The ministry contacted North Caucasian customs officials who said that the reason for the car’s temporary stoppage was that the checkpoint’s risk management system found the cargo risky in terms of belonging to the risky goods provided by “sanctions” list.
We learnt this from spokeswoman Anna Ohanyan.
“According to her, the sample was sent to the appropriate laboratory to determine the origin of the cargo. Upon receipt of the laboratory’s conclusion, an appropriate decision will be taken on further steps in relation to the mentioned cargo.”
