Defense Minister David Tonoyan and Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Artak Davtyan also visited the Yerablur Pantheon on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the October 27 terrorist act.

In response to a journalist’s question that the October 27 case is not yet disclosed, David Tonoyan said:

“People are convicted, who says the case is not disclosed? I consider the case has been disclosed to the extent that the trial is over; I cannot speak about the remaining issues now. May be that if new facts emerge in the course of time, there may be a change, but is it up to the Minister of Defense? But I am first and foremost concerned that this case will be disclosed if it has not yet been disclosed. ”

Referring to the request of conditional release of Nairi Hunanyan, the head of the terrorist group sentenced to life imprisonment on October 27 case, the Minister of Defense said,

“I don’t want to listen about it anymore.”
