The Government will hold an outgoing session on December 7 in Gyumri on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the 1988 earthquake.

There are 3 questions on the agenda:

• The report on the work to be carried out in the disaster zone during 2018 and to be completed in 2019,
• The report on the work carried out in the disaster zone during 2018 and the work to be carried out in 2019,
• The draft law on supplementing the RA Law on Holidays and Remembrance Days of the Republic of Armenia.

The draft law provides for the words “and resistance to disasters” after the word “remembrance” in Article 15 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Holidays and Remembrance Days of the Republic of Armenia” of June 24, 2001, ՀՕ-200 .

The draft law was developed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

As a result of the adoption of the project, it is expected to mark December 7 as the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Earthquake and Resistance to Disaster.
