Will March 1 Case be examined at the International Criminal Court?

The Civil Society – Government Conference entitled “The Possibilities of Introducing of Mechanisms of Transitional Justice in the RA in the Light of the International Experience” organised in cooperation of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association and the Government of the RA within the framework of the EU funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project was held on 28 November.

Mr. Artak Kirakosyan, member of the Citizen’s Decision Party, said that he is for the introduction of transitional justice. He expressed his concern over the fact that the International Criminal Court examines cases involving various murders and cases of human rights violations, but for example, the March 1 case is unlikely to get there. Artak Kirakosyan asked the lawyer Vahe Grigoryan about the prospects exist in this issue.

Notably Vahe Grigoryan is the representative of the March 1 victims’ successors.
