Former Mayor of Etchmiadzin, Karen Grigoryan, son of National Assembly deputy Manvel Grigoryan, has been charged. The Special Investigative Service reports this to Iravaban.net.
“Karen Grigoryan has been charged under Part 1 of Part 3 of Article 179 of the RA Criminal Code, “Squandering or embezzlement” in particularly large-amount. A signature not to leave was chosen as .precautionary measure against Karen Grigoryan,” the SIS reports.
On June 18, Karen Grigoryan resigned from the post of mayor of Etchmiadzin City.
