According to preliminary results of the Elections to Council of Elderly of Yerevan, the winner is the Republican Party of Armenia. The results of the Central Electoral Committee prove this. Accordingly the results in 474 polling stations have been summarised. The voices of the Republican Party of Armenia are 71.25 % or 240 036 votes; “Yelk” Alliance has 21 % or 70.731 votes; and “Land of Apricot” Party has 7.75 % or 26109 votes.
Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission Tigran Mukuchyan said that the number of irregularities was 46.
According to preliminary data 345,226 people, or 40.99% of voters participated in the Elections to Council of Elderly of Yerevan.
