On May 8, Mr. Marat Atovmyan, Board Member of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association delivered a lecture on “Integrity and Corruption in International Relations and Diplomacy. The Role of International Organizations in Conflicts Resolution,” at Tbilisi State University (TSU).
During the lecture, M. Atovmyan referred to the application of 4 elements of integrity (accountability, professionalism, ethics and corruption prevention) in diplomacy and international relations , international corruption and caviar diplomacy which Azerbaijan carried out. Mr. Atovmyan spoke about the League of Nations, the UN, the OSCE, and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He referred to the Four-Day April War as well.
The event was attended by undergraduates, post graduate students, and representatives of the professors’ staff, who asked many questions.
Mr. Atovmyan met with the Mr. Levan Aleksidze, Director of the Institute of International Law, Professor, member of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia. During the meeting they discussed issues of bilateral interest.
