On 25 August, the RA President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree on extending the term of military service of the commander of the Fifth Army Corpus of the Defense Army.
“Governed by Article 55 (12) of the Constitution of the RA with amendments of 2005,”
“Guided by the changes of 2005 and in compliance with Article 55 (12) and based on Article 14, Part 1 (1) of the RA Law on “Military Service’’, I decide.
To extend the term of military service of Major General Karen Abrahamyan, the Commander of the Fifth Army Corpus of the Defense Army for five years.”
