The motion submitted by SIS on extending the period of detention period of Ani Hovhannisyan , director of the “Analytic” website, charged with extortion from the deputy, should be examined in the Court of First Instance of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun administrative districts today.
Liparit Simonyan, advocate of Ani Hovhannisyan, informed Iravaban.net about it. He mentioned that the investigating authority justified the motion to extend the detention in an unprecedented manner. “Ani Hovhannisyan, staying in freedom, may hinder the process of preliminary court proceeding or the case investigation by the threat of publication of materials or through a public threat about persons participating in criminal proceedings.”
