A few minutes ago the Court of General Jurisdiction of Shirak Marz announced the verdict on mass murder of seven members of the Avetisyans family.
At the court hearing which took place in the Russian 102nd Military Base located in Gyumri, the Court of General Jurisdiction of Shirak Marz announced Valeri Permaykov’s verdict. Permyakov was accused of mass murder of seven members of the Avetisyans family in Gyumri, on 12 January, 2015.
Judge Harutyun Movsesyan announced, that, by combining the obtained evidence, it is confirmed, that Valeri Permykakov had performed the specified actions by the charges brought against him.
The court sentenced him to life imprisonment by combining also the penalties of Article 175, Part 2 Points 3 and 4 and Article 34-329, Part 1, accordingly to 10 and 2 years of imprisonment.
It should be noted, that the soldier of the Russian 102nd Military Base V. Permaykov was charged under the Armenian Criminal Code’s Article 104 part 2 points 1, 5, and 8 (murder of two or more persons committed with particular cruelty, and combined with banditry), Article 175 part 2 points 3 and 4 (banditary, committed by illegal entering an apartment, with the use of weapons), and Article 34-329 part 1 (an attempt to illegal grossing the state border of the Republic of Armenia without relevant documents or permits).
