The Investigative Section of Shengavit of the Investigative Department of Yerevan has received information from the Police of the RA that Levon Barseghyan carries a cold steel arms.
After the study of the prepared materials it turned out that around 03:30 AM on 27 of July, 2016 Levon Barseghyan had been detained from the Khorenatsi street of Yerevan and had been taken to the Shengavit Police Station of the Department of Yerevan of the RA Police. Here Barseghyan had found on his own a folded knife in his pocket. The knife was 18.8 cm long had a 8.5 cm long blade. During the preparation of the materials the Police decided to make a criminal expertise. Taking into the account that the materials contain sufficient facts of obvious elements of crime under the Article 235 Part 4 of the Criminal Code of the RA, a criminal case has been initiated in the Shengavit Investigative department on 27 of July.
In order to ensure comprehensiveness, completeness and objectivity in the scope of the case the investigator had decided to initiate a judicial and medical expertise. L. Barseghyan has been detained.
