The Head of the RA Police Information and Media Department Ashot Aharonyan wrote on his Facebook page that some Facebook users and separate groups had recently disseminated information on events taking place in the area of PPS regiment and around it and this information has nothing to do with reality.
He mentioned, “We urge these individuals and groups to refrain from disseminating misinformation and provoking artificial tension of the situation. We urge the mass media and other Internet users to refrain from such groundless information and if necessary address the state bodies in order to verify the authenticity of the news and to provide the public with reliable information.”
