By the RA Presidential Decrees of 23 May and 27 May, 2016, a number of judges were relieved from their posts and appointed a judge at in another court.
On 30 May, the Chairman of the RA Cassation Court Arman Mkrtumyan introduced to the Chairman and judges of the Criminal Appeal Court the newly appointed judges. Particularly, he introduced the newly appointed judges Aleksander Azatyan and Rubik Mkhitaryan at the RA Criminal Court of Appeals and judge Edgar Sedrakyan at the Court of the first instance of General Jurisdiction of Avan and Nor Nork Administrative Districts.
The Chairman of the RA Cassation Court congratulated the newly appointed judges, highly appreciated their knowledge and experience, and expressed the hope that they will show a responsible approach to their new mission in the new posts.
Working consultation was held with Arman Mkrtumyan, the Chairman of the Court of Cassation, David Avetisyan, the Chairman of the Court of Cassation, the Head of the RA Judiciary Department Karen Poladyan, and the Chief of Staff of the RA Council of Justice Shogher Vardanyan. The participants referred to the core andf current issues related to the activities of the judicial system.
