Lieutenant Colonel Martin Jhangiryan, the Commander of N Military unit of the Defense Army was awarded the second-class Order of the Combat Cross.
On 2 April, he headed the 2nd tank company.
His company took the position behind the DA N m/m NN112-118 m/ post and hit the enemy’s attacking units.
Further, as a result of joint operations with the 1st Tank Company he failed the attack and advancement of the enemy’s forces.
During the combat operations his units destroyed 5 tanks of the enemy, armored vehicles, and caused significant losses in manpower.
