There are media reports that the rector of the Academy Justice, Ruben Melikyan will assume the position of Human Rights of Nagorno Karabakh.
At this moment Ruben Melikyan is in Artsakh. He informed Iravaban.net that he had meetings with representatives of NKR National Assembly: “The main topic of the meetings was related to the large-scale violations of human rights by Azerbaijan side on 2 April”.
Related with the talks on his appointment to the position of Ombudsman, Mr. Melikyan said that it can only be approved by the decision of NKR authorities: “I can say that in the case of such proposal I shall accept it”.
