On 13 May the First Government – Civil Society Anti-Corruption Conference and the 2nd Conference of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition will take place in Yerevan. Meanwhile, today, the participants of the Conference from the Anti-Corruption Coalition of CSOs of Yerevan were selected.
More than 30 CSOs attended the event.
At the beginning the participants discussed the issues that exist in the sector, including the issues related to the illicit enrichment and the independent anti-corruption body. Karen, Zadoyan, Coordinator of the CSO’s Anti-Corruption Coalition Secretariat referred to the corruption issues that were recently discussed in different groups of the civil society.
According to Karen Zadoyan, all these again suggest that we need to develop a serious approach to the introduction of the Institute of illicit enrichment.
After the institutional issues the participants passed to the discussion of the issues on agenda.
The meeting elected the delegates who will participate in the conference.
