The cause of the explosion on a bus in Yerevan, which killed two people, has become a bomb, reports BBC Russian Service informs quoting the Armenian police head Vladimir Gasparyan.
The Head of Police said that bomb exploded near the second seat on the right side of the bus and was not fragmentation, but he did not provide other details about the explosion.
The advisor to the Chief of Police of Armenia Narek Malyan in his turn, added that there was no fire after the explosion. “The bus did not burn, there was a “dry” burst. The bus exploded while driving. It was not fragmentation but a high-explosive blast,” – wrote Malyan on your Facebook account.
Currently police are studying records from surveillance cameras. So far, the police have no data, whether there was a bomb laid in the bus or it was with one of the passengers.
With regard to this information the Head of Public Relations Department of the RA Police Ashot Aharonyan said to Iravabnan.net that the Head of the Police provided this information at night and those were preliminary news. Currently a criminal case has been initiated on the fact at the Investigative Committee and all other issues may be clarified by the Investigative Committee solely.
