Lusine Martirosyan, the Head of Information Department of the RA Ministry of Justice wrote in her Facebook account about a hilarious episode with the Azerbaijani Justice Minister. She wrote:
“A few minutes ago the high level conference on the independence of judiciary system where the ministers of justice and representatives of the judiciary from different countries participated, finished its work in Sofia. The Azerbaijani Minister of Justice, who had not yet “come to his senses” after yesterday’s incident, had prepared a lengthy speech, most probably for revenge (https://iravaban.net/en/124757.html):
In the morning, when the RA Minister of Justice Arpine Hovhannisyan was meeting with her Bulgarian counterpart, the Azerbaijanis approached the Secretariat and registered for speech (to response, they thought that our Minister would not attend today’s session and staying true to their style of conduct wanted to act form behind). But it appeared that they were mistaken. When the Azeris saw Arpine Hovhannisyan enter the conference hall, they were confused, quickly approached the Secretariat and withdrew their speech.”
