On 21 April, the RA Minister of Justice Arpine Hovhannisyan met with Mr. Gianni Buquiccio, President of the Venice Commission. The meeting took place in the scope of the conference on “Strengthening Judicial Independence and Impartiality as a Pre-Condition for the Rule of Law in Council of Europe Member States” in Bulgaria. Arpine Hovhannisyan introduced to the attention of the President of the Venice Commission the Draft Electoral Code of the RA and information on the process of discussions on the Draft Electoral Code and the amendments made in the draft during that period.
