Armine Khachatryan is in the dock on the case of murder at Aragatsotn District Court of First Instance. According to the indictment, in 2008, she intentionally hit on the head of the child by stone and killed.
She is charged with Article 104, Part 1 of the Criminal Code.
Note, that last year, in December, the Investigative Committee was informed that the woman accused of killing the child had some mental problems and is socially dangerous.
According to the preliminary investigation, in 2008, the 38 years old resident of Ashtarak town hit the head of her former husband’s second wife’s child by stone and killed her. On the same day, exhumation was made in the terms of the criminal case.
According to N 98 forensic medical examination, the child died because of the internal hemorrhages that were caused by the impact of blunt objects possibly when she was still alive and it led to death.
According to N125 Forensic psychiatry and forensic examination, the woman accused of the child’s murder was diagnosed with “dementia of unknown pathogenesis”.
The medical experts could not figure out whether the woman was mentally health during the murder of the child but the absence of any medical documents stated that she cannot realize the danger of her actions with her present mental condition.
Note: Everyone charged with alleged crime offense shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
