On 13 February, the RA Ministry of Justice signed a contract with Yerevan Jewelry Plant-1 “Gnomon” JSC for acquisition of medals. The cost of the Contract is 3 million 150 thousand AMD and the deadline of execution is on 31 March of this year.
According to the documents of purchase, medals “Vazgen Sargsyan”, “Andranik Ozanyan”, Garegin Nzhdeh”, “Drastamat Kanayan”, “Hovhannes Baghramyan”, 10 pieces of each have been ordered in the scope of the Agreement, and 35 thousand AMD per piece was paid.
All medals have the same characteristics, they are made of silver and gold plated. The medals are made of 925 carat silver. The weight of one medal is 31g, diameter is 38 mm, and thickness is 3mm. It is covered with 999.9 carat gold layer of 0.05g.
1 million 750 thousand was paid for the 50 pieces of medals.
The Ministry of Defense has ordered 10 sets of silver made and gold plated medals which consisted of 4 medals with portraits of Andranik Ozanyan, Vazgen Sargsyan, Drastamat Kanayan, and Garegin Nzhdeh on their observe side. These medals also are made of 925 karat silver. The weight of each is 31 g, diameter is 38 mm, and thickness is 3 mm. It is covered with 999.9 carat gold layer of 0.05g.
